The theme this term is called Transformers. The whole school went to the hall for an immersion assembly. Mr Burt was dressed as Pharaoh, well other teachers were dressed as others for their movie or show.
The first show or movie was Team 1 with the year 1 teachers. They were guessing the emotions in different costumes. When it came up to the judge, she was picking who would win but she just thought it should just be her so she picked herself all of a sudden. The three emotions were happy, sad, and angry.
How kiwi saved the forest: Team 2 did a movie of how Kiwi saved the forest. It was a nice movie to watch when the teachers were birds and the storyteller was Ms Squires of how kiwi saved the forest. It was very similar when everyone found out about how kiwi had rainbow wings and saved the forest. The birds were all scared to save the world so kiwi decided to do it for his family, friends and his people.
Matilda: In Team 3 teachers and helpers. They did a little show on the stage about a boy who had eaten Miss Trunchbull, the teacher’s chocolate cake. When she asked who ate her cake she was angry. By then Bobby john suddenly burped loud. Miss Trunchbull saw him and yelled to him to come to the table near her. Once Bobby John sat she grabbed a cake and told him off to eat it. While he was eating a song came on and all the students in the movie were dancing, acting and singing while he was eating. Then all when it was done. Miss Trunchbull was played by Miss Moala. She was going near then Bobby john put cake on her face. When all that was finished it was the end of the story.
Charades: on Team four Show. Mr Hughes was the teacher of ms tuia, ms parrant, ms tumahi and ms sio. They were sitting on the mat when Mr Hughes said we are going to play charades. They all got happy so Mr Hughes picked up a paper and did the charades. While it was going on. The others guessed their emotions while they were doing their themes and acting.
Cinderella: Team 5 who are the highest teachers did a play called Cinderella. Mr Moran was Cinderella. Whaea Saf and Mrs Lagitupu were the two step sisters. Mrs llaoa was the prince. When they were all acting Mr Wiseman was the storyteller. They were all playing until one sister was her character Drizella, the mean step sister of Cinderella and Ms Lagitupu was Anastasia. It was all funny how Cinderella got with Mr Wiseman at the end of the show.
I liked the Matilda play the best because Matilda was my childhood favourite movie. I always use to watch. The Show of Matilda that I really loved was the acting and music that was being played.
